Facebook Privacy

Seems to be some paranoia about Facebook and Google breeching people's privacy. Users have control over what is indexed to Google. Though, my main point here is, with hundreds of millions of Facebook users having access to your information, what's the panic now?? Seems a bit like "over reacting". If you don't want every one in the world to know something DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR COMPUTER !! Every thing you put on the internet (except on secure sites {and that is iffy}) is open to the public if they know how to dig . I know a couple people who work in computer security . They have never failed to nail the culprit when their systems have been breached . The moral of the story: If you don't want the world to know it , don't run it across your keyboard !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Abandoned vehicles.
The Salvage Industry had the laws written in their favor then found it such a mess only 1 in this part of Oregon will touch them. DMV has no provision for land owner to obtain title. The only way to get rid of vehicle is to notify Sheriff, post 72 hr. notice, write a letter w/all details, contact agreeable Salvage yard & either have them come out for $75.00 or haul it to them. Whom ever has that letter in hand can haul/tow to named Salvage yard w/out reprisal. This Ranger would make a nice little trailer & rest of body is sound, but you can't make wages doing the paper and scrapping it out in this economy.

Oh Ho, Fooled you!! you didn't think I could find my way back here. Took a while, but I figgered it out. Been so busy doin nuthin that I haven't quite got done .
Learned something of questionable value this week. If a vehicle is abandoned on your property you can't have it. The only one who can get title to it is a licensed salvage yard. You have to pay (now that scrap prices have belly whopped again) them to haul it off, they jump the hoops for the title then if any value they get it. Well nearly new tires & delux OEM wheels fall off in the night & yard can have this 1. '88 Ranger PU ext' cab w/malfunctioning hydraulic clutch & mettle filings showing on dip-stick + other stuff.

Here Goes

This computer stuff is sorta new to me so I'm going to only stick one toe in to test the water. I have a niece doing this with some of her kin. She sorta sicced me on y'all.
At the moment we are desert sitting in Laposa South BLM at Quartzsite, AZ. Have been full-timing in a motor home since Sept. '94(in this rig
11 1/2 years). Our "Brag Map" Of U.S. & Canada lacks
only Arkansas & Hawaii west of the Mississippi w/6 and a province on the other side. We aren't "touristy" people (50 miles from Nashville and didn't bother to go even though we are country listeners), we travel back roads and look at the country. Took 5 weeks to get from Spokane to Minot. Took 11 weeks to get from Yuma to Philomath, OR.

I don't know what you'll find here as time marches, but I'll think of something Earth shattering from time to time.
